I want people to be pleased and inspired by my work. I am interested in pencil-like drawings and vibrant colors. I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 to produce my work. This software is important because it is the only one I use. My most current piece of art is not my best work and I intend on being more creative with my work and expressing myself a bit more. I want viewers to be inspired to produce their own artwork after viewing mine.
I chose the Umberto Sculpture website. The initial layout of the website was very successful. I enjoy that the website is not too busy. I appreciate that the website is easy to navigate. The artist organized their work by a gallery. Out of the things I enjoy from this website I will incorporate is the gallery layout.
Five things that first time visitors to an artist’s website need to know are who the artist is, what the art looks like, what the art is about, why the art is worth seeing, and how to move around in order to get wherever they want to go. An overuse of cookies, too much information, and bad organization also to make easily navigable. Websites that use these often take a long time to load, require special software or, at worst, crash visitors' computers. The thing that stands out to me the most is to make my site easily navigable.
I made a turkey that is terrorizing a city. I made this turkey realistic by adding a turkey feather brush onto the turkey and making it transparent. I think that the turkey and the foggy background are the most successful components in my poster because they are most prominent. The two components that need the most improvement is the title text and the tagline. My final poster design is exactly how I wanted it to be. If I was given the opportunity I would change everything because the initial idea of the movie is extremely stupid.
The genre of the movie that I am advertising is Horror. I have chosen this genre because it is very suspenseful and exciting. The plot of my movie is basically a giant turkey that terrorizes a town. The turkey makes a human friend names James and they work together to destroy the world. The title of the movie is The Terrible Turkey. The leading actors are Benedict Cumberbatch, Rahul Sankar, and Kathy Bates. I will use dark colors to elude a Horror genre. I am going to use a giant turkey to advertise the movie. I will get these images from Google Earth and from personal drawings. I am going to make these images look horrifying. The rendering effects will help create an interesting image.I want the actor names to show the most because the actors sell the movie. The will be extremely interesting in the movie and see it immediately.
Based on the layout, visuals, and text on this poster, I think that this movie poster is a character poster. This poster advertises Wreck it Ralph. This movie's genre is Adventure/Comedy. The leading actors are not displayed in this movie poster. The movie was released November 2, 2012. The image is illustrative. The author chose this illustration because it represents an 8-bit depiction of the main character. I think the intended audience is children and families. There is no tagline in this poster.
I am going to create a photo mosaic. Basically, I am going to pick one photo and fill it with a variety of different photos. This will create an optical illusion. This product is simply for aesthetic pleasure. I will design this product by setting one photo as the background. Next, I am going to put smaller photos on top of the background. Then, I will make the smaller images slightly opaque. I anticipate using the Crop tool along with various blending modes and adjustments. I should be able to finish this product in 4 hours of class time depending on how quickly I capture the images. I will know that I am finished when I see an optical illusion.
